This contest is brought to you by ^pullingcandy and =the-photographicpoet, a terrifying contest just in time for Halloween.

What Is The Contest About?

The theme of will be phobias and this can be absolutely any phobia going.
There are three different "types" of phobias:

Specific Phobias
a type of phobia characterized by extreme fear of an object or situation that is not harmful under general conditions.
A list of specific phobias can be found HERE.

Agoraphobia:
a morbid fear of open spaces (as fear of being caught alone in some public place)

Social Phobia
any phobia (other than agoraphobia) associated with situations in which you are subject to criticism by others (as fear of eating in public or public speaking etc)

Launch Date and Deadline

Launch Date: 1st October 2010
Closing Date: 6th November 2010

Rules for Entering

This contest is open to Horror and Macabre Photography, Conceptual Photography and Literature only!

Photography
Create a photograph which represents your phobia.

Literature
Write a piece of prose describing how you feel when confronted by your phobias

You can only enter 1 submission
You may collaborate but it will count as a submission from all parties.
