"why was my group pulled"?
It's been a day since submitting my ticket to imfaceplate.com.
"GAY is GOOD Business" group was pulled because the 2nd thread, after the 'statement of purpose', posted some information about online dating services. A imfaceplate.com no-no. Mostly I emphasized the gay community transition from personals online to business, classifieds, rentals and jobs at posted web address. I'm sure people here are caring and compassionate and progressive and deeply committed to values with respect for diversity.
The dating element of the website is the stated reason for eliminating the group. However, the group's 'statement of purpose' discussed online gay business not dating services. It included a personals mention but as said post focused on five other traits of lifestyle, wellness and professionalism, etc.
Why should the group be deleted? Why not the thread with questionable content against imfaceplate.com TOS? Why not eliminate the thread from the group, as was done before with a post made by me? ... yet that group header remained the same?
I may be "edgy" not because of gay issues but have spent two years of ten online blogging information at 'umbrella' blogging sites and getting quick and wrong evaluations of my blog products. In some cases getting banned with no explanation so the effort here to explain is appreciated yet censoring from webmasters without a written explanation or warning to blog authors (bearing the content is not a 'immediate threat' or offensive) is just censorship.
My only regret is that aggregated blog sites with enough human resources to review all content in short time (unlike Google 'megasaurus' blogger or wordpress, etc that are distributed robot-like) will make hasty decisions without consulting the sensitivity of the post, content and the author.
No harm was done in my thread. No intent of violating TOS.
Readers this far take what will and spend your shopping dollars 'making the yuletide GAY' and support LGBT small business and human resources or donate to RAINBOW community services.
