As I have blogged in two years, women are joining the site at a ratio of 1:43 males here. Mostly straight males are joining and your 'webmaster' is bisexual but dedicated to finding the link to bringing the 'ladies on board.'

IT has a bit to do with money! You see women do not mostly webcam without asking for a pay-per-view fee or at a very trusted and monitored webcam chat room. The best chat rooms, with women who webcam with men for free, are using a downloaded desktop application. Most include a free version that is 'stunted' and the real action requires a purchase of the application and subscription fee.

"A preference for voice communication will linger for years in spite of video phones on occasion." Recently, one of the services that I beta tested online was from vivoxvoice. My experience blogging about chat applications edged my way into the program. This app is developed to augment current facebook chat without complication and provide a browser-based FREE phone center for calls in the US. 

Like any facebook app, you simply start the program, give permission to access your information and wait until it rolls you over to it's environment. This is a browser based chat room with several features to test and adjust your microphone. Your room's long distance phone number and i.d. web link.

Every facebook member gets a new and unique phone number and web link to post in twitter or facebook and share or attract callers.

FRIENDS button gives three options: see your facebook chat friends online and invite to the app. Post a voice message to your wall or anywhere you can call. (There is a dial pad.) Record a private message that arrives in your friend's fb mailbox.

There is some variety to for random and new encounters because a menu has Featured voice rooms with themes and titles that count the number of current users back to you. I have used the application but the only times have seen any occupants in a featured room, was during a beta phase and the developer was in their own room.

You have a room assigned to you by name that is not featured or public unless you choose that option to be seen by anyone.

One room is simply a developer's utility that echo's and records your voice so that when entering, start talking and hear for yourself .. the way you are sounding to others online. It may be crystal clear or some interruptions depending on the hardware on both sides.

Finally, the company developing this application is very enthusiastic and available for feedback and suggestions for new features too. Visit to learn more about it's wider and general release candidate for other services soon.

THE free version only allows limited number of participants but subscribers can accommodate an amazing 120 members.

HIGHLY recommend the online community social soon because it is growing globally and download the application that works very dependably. Your profile includes an online web address with features that include and search members, interests, photos and blogs too.

icu2: A pc desktop appliction developed down-under and distributed globally, it has well established reputation and global alternative communites too.

Honestly, I had a difficult time with this application, for the first year's use, upon entering the chat environments. I was unclear after entering a 'main chat' room that the communication features and configuration alter somewhat for calls, contacts and group conversation when crawling deeper into 'sub-rooms' based on a genre. Also, the main chat allows you to stream your webcam and allows, if you choose to go public, any member to view your stream and it gives a 'green' light to signal that you got viewers. In a sub-room, the moment you enter, depending on your optional settings, you are flooded with loose, floating tiles of all the webcam streams connecting to view your webcam.

The free version is so limited I can only say that the chat is worth paying for a two-year license and full access. Recently launched in 2010, is icuall.com, the developing 'social network' to match your desktop client profile with a online web address and community.

Camfrog: BUILT on dedicated server with a development foundation that includes well-renowned plug ins and bots performing trivia, games and advertising in developed chat rooms.

Unique is camfrog's business which brings your personal server applications to create and 'own' a chat room. Each chatroom is developed by it's administration and varies in scope and scale of sub-features or online and attached 'social networks' too.

Once again, the free version is limited but a good accommodation of all pro features during use and a premium account is only a one-time lifetime license for purchase.

The reason am writing to the bloggers and journalists of okcupid.com is seeking a female(s) 'webcam social' network co-founder. Myself, as a 10year blogger and spending the past two years posting about 'webcam social's; application reviews, recommendation of websites, advice giver and chat room etiquette plus more. Webcam SOCIAL Seeks Woman Co-Founder at Xitti.com

Hello, I have blogged for 10 years and the past two started a series and photo essay, for another blog, about webcam culture. This led to me opening two 'webcam socials' in January 2010. One for bi&gay guys elsewhere and here, for all persuasion and gender, at Xitti.com.

AM very happy with both and specifically want to place a 'CALL TO WOMEN' joining webcam.xitti.com as well as applying for co-founder duty or at least moderator.

the role would require monitoring the site for outages, contributing a women's section to the forum, sub-groups and blogging, as well as promoting the site.

Currently, all members are free to join and will be implementing a DONATION box through "ALERTPay.com" soon. Also considering subscribers' member level rates payments made possible by CCBill.com. This is in the New Year.

Please consider you start a online social network with tools from builder like ning.com, grou.ps or wall.fm. You spend months attracting members, authoring content and sending news updates to registered interests but your newsletter could use a :POP:!

So you read about a new start-up with a simple yet provocative interface. You make your first newsletter;

When attempt to send 88 members the copy, encounter a redirection to your drafts folder and a flashing notice in red that the newsletter needs statement of 'connection to recipients' and necessary before forward to the addresses.

The notice says in rather four hours the draft review should be considered. I assume the copy would automatically be forwarded .. but it sat for two days in drafts so inquired about it.. my email reply from [email protected] fills a box three times over with simple message..'send now'.

SO after emptying the duplicate responses to trash.. I sent 88 of my registered members a newsletter. Fifteen minutes later receive triplicate [email protected] email stating my account is suspended for 'suspected spamming'.

thus... my New Year's resolution for 2011.. blogspotting for public considerations about these occurrences, happening more and more with young, energetic and "hip hopers" entrepreneur sites. So few and so small are these accounts, there is time spent intruding on your privacy and content. Thought police...
